Lazy, Rainy, Saturday

It has been a cold rainy day. However, I'm glad to see that Fall has finally arrived. Max was decked out in his warm winter clothes today, and I can wear a jacket. I will look for any excuse to wear long sleeves and long pants. Jacob and max are recovering from the flu. They both are doing well, except their appetites are still minimal. Max was vomiting most of Thursday night. It scared me, I had never seen anyone through up that much in such a short period of time. It came out to be seven times in one hour. We had a lot of laundry to do that I'm still trying to catch up on. But he is doing great now and is back to his old self. Jacob didn't go to work on Friday, and I was busy with school work and cleaning up the house. But it was nice to have a little extra time together, even if it was the effect of a virus. I finally got Jake hooked on Law and Order and yesterday we had a SVU marathon. That's what you do when your laid up.

Midterms

Oh how the semester is flying by. Max is getting huge and he's starting to climb over stuff. One of his favorite past times is opening and closing doors. when he sees me open the fridge he crawls over faster than lightening to he can close it. He enjoys being around other babies, especially when their backs are turned to he can head butt them. He's a head butter. He will head butt anything like the couch or my shins. Ouch! anyways, it's midterms time and I have a couple of tests spread out over the next few weeks. I'm doing good in most of my classes except for hearing Science, I got a C on my last test so i really need to buckle down in the class. I have to get a B- or better or I have to retake it. It's one of the programs requirements. I'm pushing hard to graduate next Fall! It may or may not happen. I might have to wait until the spring just because it might be too much work to cram in in such a small amount of time.

Many of you may have already heard the Grandma Boots is thinking about moving to Salt Lake. Then the whole Giometta clan will have migrated out West, with the exception of Jason who now lives in Austen, Texas, which is more South West. I hope he can still come for Christmas this year!

Jake has been working so hard in his classes, and I'm so glad he will be done at SLCC this year. than we can move on to the next phase of his education. Now he must decided, once he gets accepted which school he wants to attend. I'm hoping he will stay at the UofU just cause I don't feel like moving right now, but we will find out the beginning of next year what he decides.
