Just as a little side note, my hair has recovered nicely from the little run in that I had with the Arab a few months ago. I am very glad of this fact!
Onto Valentines day...... that was an interesting time. We decided that we would do a group date with Chapan and his friend, Koon and Ashton, and Nate and Jamie. We were first going to go to the Bombay House, a suupposedly nice Indian restaraunt, and then go ice skating afterwords. Well, we get to the Bombay House and since they did not take reservations, we waited in a line for twenty minutes just to be put on the waiting list. From there, we spent another fifty minutes waiting for the table. And from there, it took another forty five minutes to get our mediocre over priced not so good food. The worst was I had to watch two homosexuals canoodling together in the booth across from us all...... But, after dinner got done, it was close to ten, so we all decided to bag ice skating and just watch a movie at our place. We get to our place, and we lost Nate, Jamie, Koon, and Ashton. Chapan and his friend then stayed for about an hour and the night was all done before 11:30. Kind of shocking. Both Rach and I had been talking, along with some other friends, about how it was so easy to stay out so late before we got married. I used to stay out or at least up til 3 or 4 in the morning. Got married and it suddenly got hard to even stay up until midnight. So, for all of our single friends to bail out before the married couple on V-day was just kinda odd. Good times, though, saved me the trouble of having to kick them out! Hahaha!!

Lazy Sunday.....
Just sitting in the living room, chillin, smelling the bacon wafting through the air, knowing that if I go anywhere near my sister-in-laws in the next few days, they will be able to smell it from a mile away.... haha! So far this year is just flying along, a lot more quickly that I thought that it would. Seems just yesterday that I had started the new semester. So far all is going well with that, not only keeping up in all my classes, but by staying in the top of all my classes as well. Quite a change from the norm, but it is good. Rachel is still doing well in all her classes, as usual. She likes to really complain about all her tests, saying that they will be so hard, saying that she cannot retain information well, but seems to always find out that she has aced the test. Proud of her for that!! Other than school, not a lot going on for us. About the only things we get excited for now are when we get a big rug to cover our tile floor in the living room, or finally getting a nice kitchen table with chairs, or finally re-arranging our apartment to a way that makes us both happy. The picture that we found in Montana next to the dumpster still attracts the eye and we receive many compliments on it (thanks Ben and Jess!!). Oh, another thing of import that has happened is that I have finally bought new glasses. Two pairs, in fact. The previous pair had lasted about three years, so it was time for a new pair. In theory, between the two, hoping my eyes to not get worse, they should last for six years! That would be nice.
Anywho, that is all for now, so if there are those of you that still follow this blog, we hope to get more stuff up soon, but we shall see! As the Roman Catholics would say, Peace be unto you!
